DESCRIPTION:More than 50 women graduates have contributed their stories and photographs to this oral history project exploring the experiences of women film graduates in India and the “unremembered” stories of women’s labour in film. \nSurabhi Sharma\, NYUAD Associate Dean for the Arts and Creative Practices and Associate Professor of Practice of Film and New Media\, is an independent filmmaker making feature-length documentaries and short films since 2000. DESCRIPTION:Back for a new season\, it’s one of the most consistently funny of the Courtyard’s classic improv gigs: the speakers have to give a presentation on a slide deck they’ve never seen before\, with the topic determined at random by the Wheel of Destiny. Each presentation will be rated by a panel of judges and the winner applauded as the PowerPointless champion. Afterwards there’s a chance to mingle with the presenters and the Courtyard’s Corporate Team (and a chance to find out more about the Courtyard’s Corporate Academy). \nIt’s free\, but you need to put your name on the guestlist via the website. It’s first-come first-served\, so get there early to grab a seat. \n
