He describes watching a meteor shower – blue fire lighting up the sky followed by a noise so loud people thought it was an earthquake – and he joins men looking for the debris … \nAdnane Baraka’s cinematic essay about the origins of human life screens in dialogue with the ongoing Abdullah Al Saadi exhibition Sites of Memory\, Sites of Amnesia as part of a film programme curated by researcher and scholar Rasha Salti that invites audiences to reflect on the intricate interplay between remembrance and forgetting\, evoking profound connections to collective and personal histories.
