SUMMARY:Monty Python's Spamalot
DESCRIPTION:The final two performances (thyere are shows at 2pm and 7.30pm) for this irreverent musical parody of Arthurian legend\, based on the 1975 film Monty Python and the Holy Grail. It’s funny and clever\, and it’s brought to us by the Abu Dhabi Choral Group\, the UAE’s longest established amateur music group – now in its 45th season\, and with more than 75 shows in its back catalogue. Recommended.

SUMMARY:The Addams Family – A New Musical
DESCRIPTION:The final performances (shows at 2.30 and 7.30pm) for this musical sequel to the original Addams Family story by MTDXB. Wednesday Addams\, the ultimate princess of darkness\, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet\, smart young man from a respectable family– a man her parents have never met. And if that wasn’t upsetting enough\, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now\, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before: keep a secret from his beloved wife\, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents … \nClaire Bennett directs\, the musical director is Adam Laird. The production has a cast of 50\, a live 12-piece band\, and a “stunning” professionally built set. We’re promised “a number of showstopper songs” (when we saw a version of the show a while ago we counted around 20 of them\, and particularly liked the Move Towards the Darkness finale) “and elaborate dance routines”. Sounds like a load of fun …
